My name is Jeanine Randel and I live in Eastern WA in a little town called Wilbur. Last year we used our pink flamingos as a fundraiser for our Miss Wilbur program and it was a HUGE success! Unfortunately we did not have any participants this year, so we did not fundraise. When I saw the notice about Pink Flamingo Day I got very excited as I myself have been collecting flamingos for 20+ years. We decided to use this as our fundraiser and it worked wonderfully!! Thank you for the opportunity to participate in a world record.

Yard Card Surprise 1-10
Marlene Osborne and Mike Smeck, of Yard Card Surprise, celebrated Pink Flamingo Day in GRAND style!  Located in Amherst, OH, this duo wins the prize for best display with the video of Mike walking around in a pink flamingo costume.  "It is in a very high traffic area and we would like to sincerely and graciously Thanks to Elizabeth A. Concar of the local Amherst/Vermilion Realty One office for allowing us to use their lawn...It is one of the best pieces of property along this very traveled stretch of road."

Miss Flamingo 1-2
Here's our contribution to the celebration, our first ever display (we're still getting our business organized). Our neighbor across the street saw us setting up, & said today was his 45th birthday. Great opportunity fell in our lap, so we set up a birthday display in his yard. Having a lot of fun just collecting signs & critters, & getting our very own business built. We really look forward to being able to spend a lot more time doing this.
